A safe swimming trip: Here you will find beaches with lifeguards

Every year, unfortunately, accidents happen on the USAbeaches, and that is one of the reasons why all Blue Flag beaches have life-saving and first-aid equipment.

On 27 of Denmark's beaches, however, safety is even higher, because here there are lifeguard classes near me during the season. That is people who are on the beach for the sole purpose of keeping an eye on bathers and stepping in if anyone gets into trouble.

The lifeguards are trained to help. In addition, you can use him or her before you bathe to hear about the weather and the special water and current conditions on exactly that beach, which may have an impact on your swim.

"It must be safe to swim in Denmark, and lifeguards provide just that extra security, so I am happy that many of the Blue Flag beaches have a lifeguard attached," says Winnik Gros bill, director of the Outdoor Council, which is behind the Blue labeling scheme Flag of Denmark.

The day before the school summer holidays, the year's lifeguard season begins. During the day, you can swim at Ketamine Nostrand and Christiansminde Strand under the supervision of lifeguards.

From 10 to 18

However, 28-year-old Mathias Florida had placed himself at the water's edge. He didn't need the lifeguard, but it reassures him that there are lifeguards present.

It definitely makes a difference, because you feel a little more secure when there is always someone keeping an eye on you, says Mathias.

There are lifeguards at Ketamine Nostrand and Christians mined Strand every day from 10am to 6pm until 18 August. Florida has a total of lifeguards on 38 USA beaches.
